GoatCounter

We use GoatCounter for simple web analytics, which is a privacy-friendly open source platform. You are not tracked with a unique identifier and no personal data is collected. The reason to use some kind of analytics is to get an insight into how our project is used and to further improve it.

Netlify

This website is hosted by Netlify. They collect access logs including the IP addresses and store it for less than 30 days. For more information, read their privacy commitment.

GitHub

The source code of this project is hosted on GitHub. Even though they are not obtaining any data when you visit parametric by design, if you wish to contribute and visit the hosted source code, the GitHub Privacy Statement applies on their website. In order to contribute through GitHub, you will need an account, which is operated according to the GitHub Terms of Service.

CDNs

Third party libraries are used to enable additional features on this website. We use Fuse.js (search), Katex (math display) and sanitize.css (CSS normalization). They are hosted by jsDelivr, a Content Delivery Network. According to their Privacy Policy they do not track but may collect usage data.

Embedded third party media (YouTube)

When you load a page with embedded third party media, such as a YouTube video, no connection to the external content provider is established and a placeholder is shown instead. However, if you wish to view the content within this website, you have to give your consent. After agreeing, the content will be loaded.
